Gunmetal is a safe choice. Gold for a bit flashy. White would just be the sex, but you have to be dropped to pull it off i would think.

My opinion is that white is an aggressive color for rims, so if your car wasnt lowered, they would just look... out of place...

wheel gap is definitely a no-no w/an 'aggressive' (for lack of a better word) color.

gotta love 40 year olds that spend all day on rx8club trying to establish how much they think "know" about cars. nothing better to do than leave your lame opinion on internet threads all day? get a hobby that doesn't involve your car. thanks.

whos arguing? 40 year old men that spend all day on here really need to get a hobby and leave 25 year olds alone who are excited about their car and want to get the communities opinions. i didn't ask for biter middle aged guys to **** and moan about how much they think they know. end of story. have a great weekend.

With valued and respected members of our community so tread lightly

some of our most respected members are upwards of 40 years old because they have this little thing called "experience" Some people here have owned more Rotary cars then you probably have ever owned since you got your driver's license 7-10 years ago.

you are excited, that's good but you need to be a bit more humble when people give you straight forward opinions.
It is true, you want to be original yet you ask for opinions. That sir, is an oxymoron because most of these opinions will be based on people's experience. ie; what they have ALREADY done which by definition makes your look un-original if you take their advice.
Not criticizing, simply stating a point that pdxhak was trying to enlighten you about.

you asked for an opion on a public internet forum, you'll get what people want to give you.
end of story
have a good weekend.

What others have posted. If your are going to have an aggressive color combo, you need the complete look, imho. The wheel gap just would just look out of place. In all fairness though... all 8's should be dropped .

Got my s-techs on the way!!

treaven20,

If you stay here long enough then I hope you take the time to learn from the community. Just like in the real world, a community is made up of all races, ages and attitudes. No doubt someday soon or in the future you will want help from an "experienced" member of these communities. Take the time to listen and learn.

To be honest I'm somewhat surprised you have come off half cocked with a few of us here and other members are still giving you advice and ignoring the fact you are being extremely rude.

My statement was fair and not intended to be provoke an argument. I get that you want to be original. But being different for the sake of being different is lame. There is a huge thread here on "What Not To Do To Your Car" with lots pictures of people attempting to be original.

FWIW the most original people I know just do what they want and do not care what anyone else thinks. This does not mean they do not learn or seek opinions of others. But they generally have a direction where they are going and the information they obtain helps them come to some sort of a conclusion.
