Returning a lease
Hey guys i had a quick question. I'm returning a lease in 3 weeks. I have a custom intake. Do I need to take the custom intake out and put the original intake back in before I return the lease?
Is it hard to install the OEM intake? How much does it cost if I can't find it?
Also, do I have to take the window tints off? Also, the side mirror is missing the mirror. I think someone stole it or broke it, but the housing is there, just the mirror itself is missing.
I've never returned a lease, my family has always purchased vehicles so I don't know jack about returning a lease. Thanks

When I returned an RX-8, they had a rep look the entire car over to verify everything was there - right down to the floor mats. I don't think he would have noticed a different intake, as he never looked at anything but miles and cosmetics. I have no idea on the windows, but a missing mirror would have cost me.

Agreed... take the tint off or be charged(unless it is 35% or milder, then they "may" not notice). Replace the intake with factory or expect a HEFTY sum... Even if it were a point of purchase, dealer installed, Mazdaspeed you'd want the factory unit in the trunk.

I zoom therefore I am.
read the terms of your lease. Anything that wasnt there when you picked it up and anything that is missing will be charged to you for parts and labor.
