Replacing rearview mirror under warranty?

My 2005 has the Homelink auto day/night mirror that has the dreadful buzzing that seems to afflict many. Get the right road coarseness and it starts to sing--drives me crazy.

Has anyone got their dealer to replace it under warrant recently? I saw that someone had some success getting the dealer to replace it.

Thanks!

No problem if your B to B warranty is still in effect.
