OK.. Am I a geek or is there something else to taking off the cover to the air filter.

On page 8-18 is says that you only have to disconnect the wiring harness and unfasten the two latches. I did that but the cover will not go up more than 2 inches. It keeps hitting the air tube which is directly connected to the housing. I have no idea how it will ever come up.

What else is there?

The entire box will come out.....just loosen the clamp that secures the MAF to the box. Pull towards you...then away...It will pop out.
