Removal of rear accent

Removal of rear accent

What up guys ...Quick question I have my car going in to the body shop tomorrow morning to get my kit put on . The thing is I need to remove the rear accent . So what would I need to do for that . I'm thinking blow drier, am I correct or is there another way ?

^ mine is taped on, so heat is a good idea.

I bent the tip of an old butter knife into a "U" and scraped it out slowly while using a blow dryer for heat. Works great and doesn't damage anything.

Use fishing line and work it back and forth to cut through the tape on the backside. That is what all the instructions say to do when you buy something that is held on with 3M tape. When I bought my RX8Strakes stealth LED light that goes behind the accent, I had to pull it off and fishing line worked fine for me.
