Redlined for the 1st time
Guys,
First of all, I must admit that I have been a bit of a wuss since the ownership of my WB 8... because I never redlined my 8. I do high-rev it, highest probaby around 7,500 ... mainly because the car is "always" already fast enough on 2nd gear rev @ 7,500 ... never felt the need to high rev any further and I have always felt like Sonic on the road. However, last night, O man ... I finally did it, did it just for the sake of doing it, since a lot of you guys suggest that you should redline regualrly (if not once a day), to avoid carbon build up in the engine, etc.
It felt so good, and most important of all, it felt so right. When I hit 8,5000 there's a sound signal reminding me to change gear, this feature is so cool. I can certainly see myself do this more and more often. hehe
That's all folks ... just wanna express how much more I appreciate my 8 now, not that I wasn't ...
