Rear AC/Heat vents

That would be nice. There does seems to be a lot of room in the back. Why Not?

Because the rear seats are only there for occational use. Less complexity = cheaper to manufacture and less stuff to break. It's not a large car either.

Be honest, when you're driving do you care 'bout those in the back? Didn't think so. Seriously, the cubic footage of the interior of the car would not warrant rear vents. Sufficient would flow to the rear from the center vents.

Its a small cabin. Dual zone climate control would be extra weight, but not that beneficial.
Make sure you drive with 3 friends who are all comfortable at the same temperature.

Or tell them to shut the hell up because it's your car and you're not cold :p

I usually tell anyone in my car:

"When I drive, I set the radio, the temperature, whether or not the windows are open, and when I tell you to turn off the interior lights, do it, or walk."

I'm usually in favour of gadgets and features, but the car is too small to make rear vents necessary, and it would just add complexity and cost for little value. I would mostly use the back seat for babies/children so I would prefer to get the same temperature air in front that they were being exposed to in back to make sure it wasn't too cold/hot for them.

I have to agree the relativly small size of the cabin could never require that there be a seperate climate control for the rear seats. However compared to the F-150 i'm driving now anything could er would be better than that.
