radar mirror mount
Hey, I have a valentine and want to mount it on my mirror using a mount just like the ones on this website:
http://www.countryjoycrafts.com/350Z/valentinemount.htm
I am wondering if anyone has tried one of these for the valentine or any other kind of detector they make them for.
I have heard of these not fitting well so I am curious what is the right size for the non-homelink mirror?
if you have used one before let me know what you think of it!

that particular one looks pretty trashy to me. i've see a really slick remote mouth w/ the display integrated into the rear view mirror itself, as in inside/behind the mirror. that looks really hot but i've no idea how it was done...

The V1 fits perfectly behind the passenger side of the mirror with the suction mount. The rear-facing sensor just peaks out passed the side of the mirror. The detector isn't visable from the driver's seat at all and is fairly descrete from the outside. I use the remote display mounted within arm's reach.
Well I can't speak for the V1, but my Bel RX-65 looks great mounted on the rear view. Technically its still illegal in CA because it "blocks vision" but at least I can't get cited for theBS suction cup on windshield charge.
