Radar Detector Mounts

I saw this posted on the forum before, but no amount of searching leads me to any results...

I thought maybe you forum guys could help me out here. I need to know which of these mounts to buy (size), for my new Escort radar detector.

3/4", or .9" (23mm)?

Thanks!

For anyone that was wondering, our mirror stems come out to around .9" or 23mm.

Hey, when you find out, let us know. That's not a bad looking setup!

I just got an Escort and I've been toying with how to run the wire- I hate having it run down my dash to the ciggerette lighter outlet, do you think there may be a way to run it where the dash meets the windsheild to tap to a 12v power source? I sure wish I had a power mirror.

I've been thinking about it for a while. My current conclusion, is to run it to the lights up top, or run a wire up to the top, down the a-pillar, and to the ciggarette lighter.

V Vette it would great if you could take another shot of the mirror from the back seat or something to try and get an idea of how much the radar detector gets in the way of your vision when driving.

Ok. I got my mount today, from countryjoy, and it seems to be of very high quality. My radar detector won't be here until Wednesday...but I have a question. Could someone please meature the "rotor" shaped RX8 button, that people use for starter buttons? I'd like to see if I can fit one on my mount.

I didn't even bother with suction cups. I used the glass glue sold to affix rear window mounts to stick mine on.
