Has anyone tried out racing beat's midpipe? If so how do you like it? Also does it throw up the check engine light cause I would like a midpipe that doesn't.

 

Yes, people have tried it. Yes, it will throw a CEL. All midpipes that don't contain a cat eventually will. There are several threads already created about this product.

 

i have their non resonated midpipe on my 8. it will throw up the check engine light unless you have an accessport or something to clear and erase the code. also be ready for a much stronger exhaust smell!!!

i had the racing beat rev8 exhaust in combination with the midpipe and i really liked the sound, was extremely loud because the racing beat exhaust quieted it down alot.

now i have the HKS hi power exhaust in combination with the midpipe and WOW it is loud lol. i hear a hint of rasp at certain throttle amounts but in general i love the deep sound and the fact that my car is actually audible now. only thing is the back fire sounds are literally gunshots now lol. but they are controllable in my case.

 

oh wait...racing beat has a RESONATED midpipe now too?
