ok wasn't over sure if this should go into what channel due to what I wish to know.

so here goes.

will r3 front panels fit on a series 1 rx8? IE 2010 fenders, hood and front bumper/lights on a 2003 rx8?

Also how different are the rear lights on the series 1 and r3(2010-12)?

if this has been discussed about before please forgive me. any help would be nice.

 

From what I know, YES, but only if your have all of them together. Can't just just bits. And the mounting is a bit different. It's pretty costly though, like $2,000+. Rear lights are extended slightly lower on an S2.

LED lights on S1 requires new rear Bumper S2 and some of the associated parts,

Front , Yes to a degree..
Both Fenders
All black Fender and Oil Cooler liners.
Engine Undercover (plastic)
All light (side and headlamps and fogs).
Grille
Bumper cover
Bumper REO is different
Radiator Support Panel is different (behind headlamps)...I think minor changes.

 

thanks I thought that might have been the case... needing all panels etc..

just want to way up my options once the new year kicks in. bodykit vs r3 facelift.
