real quick guys, are there leather seats that are not heated or powered?


i know there are cloth ones, but i need to know if the leather come in non powered or heated.

 

All leather seats in the RX-8 are heated; All drivers side leather seats are powered, all passengers side leather seats are manual.

 

Why would you not want these wonderful *** warmers? Feels great on cold mornings!

 

I think the rear should be warming too

 

i need a second set that im putting in a fd. i wanted to go all black leather now i need to do some more research into it.

 

Any leather seats in the RX-8 that are STOCK will have seat warmers on the driver and passenger side. If there's leather seats and no seat warmers, the leather was put in aftermarket and it had cloth before.

 

i thought that the rx8 seats don't fit in the fd, only fc and fb? oh well, might be wrong, anyways, yeah, all stock leather seats are heated. couldn't you just install the seats without linking the heating unit to anything? or get your cloth seats and make it leather?

on another note, if you got jdm leather seats, couldnt you get both your passenger and driver side seats powered? just a thought cause i might want to do that. hahaha

 

ive seen the rx8 seats in there is just a little harder to do. the cloth seats that arent powered have less hardware attached to it so its easier to fit. it looks like my main options are either custom leather on some cloth seats or just releather my stock 7 seats.

 

Apparently there are some NC Miata using rx-8 seats....

 

Just get two passenger seats and disconnect the heaters.

 

Seeing RX-8 seats in an FD would be sexy as hell. After you finish it up, pictures please.
