Wide angled? It magnafies a bit, but i dont know about it being "wide angled."

no, only the right side.

Probably different if you have a right hand drive car.

No idea what you're on about, but if you go to Wally World then you can pick up a small 1" blind-spot mirror for about 99c that does the same job and doesn't look too shabby. Every car we buy gets them added to both mirrors within a couple of days, and the 8 was no exception.
