is there a factory mp3 player that mazda offers or are all the mp3 players out there aftermarket?

So, you can have both a single disc CD and an MP3 player installed?

 

i havent gotten it yet, but i had one of these on my old car. It will play cds normally, and if you put in a data cd with mp3s it plays the mp3s and displays the info just like any other mp3 player.

To clarify, no you can't. The MP3 player replaces the CD player. It goes in the same place (space). But, you wouldn't need the CD player anymore cuz the MP3 plays CD's.

 

Can't have the 6-CD changer with it though... if that's a concern.

 

Nope, would not need the 6-Disc, but if the MP3 plays audio cd's as well, I'm mad I did not order it that way. So, I replace my stock single disc CD player with the MP3 player, and I can play audio cd's and mp3 cd's, correct?

you couldnt have ordered that way i think, im pretty sure the mp3 player is a dealer installed option
