Do you think that it is fair to compare the RX-8 to cars like Lexus' IS-300, Audi A-4, BMW 3 series, etc. instead of the 350 Z. I think the RX-8 and the Z have different missions in life. The RX-8 is more comparable to the 4 door entry level sports sedans instead of a 2 door 2-seater. But when ( yes I said W H E N people!) the RX-7 comes out then that would be the Z's competition, and quite frankly I know the RX-7 is going to mop up the streets with the Z. But that's just my opinion.:D

Well, I don't know about your very last comment, but to address the earlier stuff: I think its fair to compare the RX-8 to 2 door 2 seaters AND sedans. Different people will use it for different things. For some it will be their weekend sports car. Others, their daily driver. It spans both categories, so why not compare it to cars from both categories?
