Problem with a cat...

K so I washed my car last night around 9 or so and woke up this morning to find that a cat with muddle feet walked all over my car. I went over and talked to the lady that keeps her cat food outside and just let her cats wonder. She ended up telling me to pretty much screw off and that she doesnt care. Is there anything I can do?

Just a Warning... as much as I would love to put out Antifreeze for all cats (I am a Cat hater.) If you do that and the cops happen to find it, you will be arrested. Antifreeze will kill the cat. Cats and dogs think it is water, put it is very poison. Just a word to the wise.

now that you've confronted the lady about the cat, if she finds it randomly dead in the yard, you will be the first suspect. I'm sure a Vet can figure out what killed it.

You are MUCH better off and MUCH wiser not to kill it. either call animal control about a wandering cat. You could even go as far as telling the lady that if you find cat prints on the car again that you will call animal control.
'
You are stupid to kill it. Remember, it is someones pet and a living creature. What if someone just came by and killed your dog or some other thing you are attached to because if **** on your lawn or something.

all anti-freeze these days come with denatonium in them. its the most bitter chemical known to man. so no living beings will take more than 1 zip. and you need about 2-3 oz to kill a cat. which is MORE than 1 zip.

There are millions of way to "finish" a cat off without a trace. but I gotta say the easiest method would be food.

Dont expect the cat to eat it on the first day. CAT's natrual habbit is "better be safe than sorry". so just put some delicious regular Tuna CAN FOOD (works better, trust me) for a few days, make sure its at someplace that no one can see it. check it every hour or so for "consumption." if it seems that something has "touched/ate" the food. good. sometimes other animal like squirrels love to steal food. so if its those little bastards. feed them the same thing that you've prepared for the cat

give it a few more days. then put your "special" Tuna fish dinner with "SPECIAL" ingredients

put soap and water that area, dump those food and containers into a plastic bag and throw them miles away.

Trust me. this method works ... if you know what I mean

a few days later, if the cat is "somehow" missing. or your neigbor is crying about something. or you start seeing those "Missing CAT" signs all over the light poles. then you know it worked.

Evidence ? what evidence? you guys really think this is CSI ? you think cops gonna give a damn about a damn dead/missing cat ?

Are f#ckin serious?... what kind of freak are you??? if the neighbor is not controlling their animal call Animal Control. They will take care of it. Let the neighbor pay enough tickets for it and they will stop letting their cat run wild. But risking jail time for animal cruelty (which is a felony) is just stupid and small minded... Are you living in a cave somewhere? this board is for discussing things mazda/cars/rx-8 related. Not a place to discuss criminal activities... if you people do not get banned for this I would be very surprised...

He's from New York City. They have their ways, although I tend to go along with the Melmacian approach to this kind of problem.

But, IMHO, the cat is just as much a victim as the OP. Putting cat food outside and letting a feral cat population grow doesn't do anyone any favors. I vote for calling animal control.

WTH is wrong with some of you guys? And you bring **** like this on the forum? And you sure as hell better believe cops care about dead cats. Do you think someone who gives a crap about their animal and suddenly finds it dead isn't going to get an autopsy?

I suppose you also advocate killing and skinning them and throwing them back in their owner's yards because it's funny.

I am so disgusted with some of you I don't even know what to say. You should be totally ashamed.

OP, call animal control. How can you not know that's the first thing you do?? DUH. Or trap the damn animal and take it to the shelter. Thread closed.
