probably trading it in

I love the car but way too many problems, there for I'm thinking of trading it in for either a new mx5 (miata) or the mazdaspeed 3. which one do you guys like beter.

The miata will have similar handling and overall feel.
THe mazdaspeed 3 is a different type of car (5 door), FWD. It might actually feel faster.

Did you have to many problems with the 8?

If I was shorter and younger, I'd go for the Miata. Mazda 3 wouldn't even be on my radar screen.

But that's me. Your needs and self-image will be different.

What problems where you having with the 8? The choice of car depends only on you. Do you want a two seater with handling just like the 8, or do you prefer the M3 FWD assuming that you want the 5 door version. Either way both cars are excellent choices.
