Price of Rx-8 knocked down?

I was lookingthrough mazdausa.com today and noticed that the automatic Rx8 now starts at $25,180 and the manual starts at $26,680. Itlooks like the price of thecar has gone down about $520 in every area. Im not too happy about this. Not becausethe car is cheaper for new buyers but because this hurts the resale value. When didthis price drop take place?

destination fee isn't included in the "new price".

Sounds like a delivery charge was not included in the final price. I believe I saw another thread recently where someone noticed this.

Sorryguys!! I dont know what the point is of taking the destination fee off the the listedprice on the website. Back whenI got mine the MSRP waslisted on the site as auto $25,700 and 6 speed $27,200. Evenwhen I went to the build section of thesite all of the packages and combinationsseemed like they were all $500 less. Iguess I should have looked a littlecloser before posting this. Sorry again.

You guys are right. They pulled the $520 destination fee from the Mazda USA web site buld section. Talk about strange. Like no one would notice having to pay the extra $520? In fact, the current price for an RX-8 with the GT package is $31,200 which is $100 more than the sticker on my RX-8 from last July.

The car is made in Japan and at some point if the dollar gets stronger the price will go down.

You guys are lucky to get that. If the Aussie dollar goes up against the YEN. The RX-8 price remains the same. If it goes down. Just watch Mazda Australia scamble to raise the ticket price.

Another thing is the extra money Mazda Australia ripp off the Aussie buyers.

Here, the Auto actually costs MORE than the higher spec manual...... Go figure that.................
