Price point of a new ealry 2000s rx8

When the rx8 was released, what kind of price point did it have? Most of the older ones now cost like 3 to 5 grand. I'm just curious on the whole depreciation value.

I paid 30k sticker for my 2004 Touring. Around here you can get a clean 2004 GT for $2500.00. Maybe a little more if you show the buyer compression numbers.

That new car feature list was a fun read haha. That's crazy how much depreciation there is.

Found out shortly after it had a bad cat from a bad coil.
Been DD'ing it ever since except for snow/slushy roads, over 72k miles now, still running good, but with failing compression which I attribute to driving it for the first 5 months with the bad cat.
That was before I joined the club here and found out how fragile the Renesis is.

I bought mine for 22K in 2007. Car is a 2005 and had 8900 miles on it and was $31K new.

Mine has been a DD ever since - 80,000 miles on it now, original engine. The engine has hot start issues now and probably needs a replacement.
