Sorry to create a whole thread for this, but I just wanted to share my excitement in finally getting the pre-order in.

I put down my deposit back in Nov. 02 and was lucky enough to be 2nd on their list as my dealer only has a confirmed allocation of 2 cars. I'm going with the Titanium Grey w/ Black interior, Grand Touring package. Despite all my prior posts about the NAV system, I'm opting not to get it as it just adds to the show-off factor and at 31,100, I feel much better staying under my original 32k budget. Plus, I might use the extra 2k to get 16 or 17" rims and all weather tires if I need to drive in bad weather... (if they're compatible).

One thing to note though is that my dealer said their deadline for pre-ordering is today, despite what Mazda's releases have mentioned (something like after the weekend).

I'm going with Adzam Mazda in Bedford Hills, NY (914) 241-2434. Pretty nice folks on the phone though I've yet to see the dealership.

Now I've just have to wait till May/June!

You can only fit 17s over the brakes, so that's what you'll have to go with.

Since I have a set of 17s that I don't use, I'm going to get winter tires for those, except I have to fix a dent in one of the rims.

 

My dealer actually called me today!!!
I did not even bug them!

They called and said they were placing their order! and needed to know what I wanted.
