I have passed the 600 mile mark. This car cruises like nothing else I have driven. Cruises at 90-100 as sure as at 50. I noticed the tack is 1/2 of the speedometer in 6 th gear. At 60 mph, the tack is at 3000 rpm, at 80 mph, the tack is 4000 rpm, ect. The sound of the engine is better than the stereo. Have to love the yellow ones. Tomorrow is 1 week of driving this car.:D :D

VW coulda had it...
Hey TJRX8:
I really like the looks of your car with the front air dam. Could you please answer a couple questions about it?
- How much ground clearance do you lose with it on?
- How does it fasten to the front end? Could it be fairly easily removed seasonally, for those of us that have foolishly chosen to drive in snowy conditions?
Thanks!

Since I do have the air dam I'm not sure what the clearance is without it. But I did measure it and at it's lowest point it is 6 3/4 inches and about 7 at the highest. That is sitting level in my garage.
The interesting part is I can't tell how it is fastened. I wish I had one side by side to compare. It almost looks like it fits right over like a glove. I see a couple screws on the ends and it is seamless with the underbody plate as well. So I imagine it is fastened to it somehow. There is no extra black plastic showing, it is wide open to the radiator. Maybe the stock "black" piece is actually taken off. I'm stumped guess I better look at some stock pics. Sorry to be so wishy washy.

Nice pic. Good light effect and good angle.
Is there an orangish sunset or something behind the camera? There seems to be an orange reflection in the rotors that makes them look like the car has been sitting there in the rain for a couple of days.

Thanks for your response and the images! I hope I can be of some help to others when I get my car. Ahem. When I get my car.
Anyway, it does look like it replaces the black valence air scoop thing. I'll have to take a measurement of the stock setup for comparison. When I see the stock setup that is.
