Recently I seen the new rotary engine mazda has been working on. This prompted me to start searching for info on the car they might put it in and found this. Personally if they do put a electric assist motor on it I'm not buying. And yes the concept car is slated for 2017 with posable production car for 2020 it is far off but still can't wait to see what they do.

 

The just announced 2020 EU emission standards may be too tough for even a re-engineered rotary to meet. It could be curtains folks.
