this car should NOT have been made in galaxy grey. Only a manager of a mattress showroom would purchase that colour. Boring! It's a sportscar get it bright!

 

I wonder how many of each color mazda make, maybe it'll reflect the poll outcome. Since I've only seen VRs and BBs around my city and the top two colors are VR and BB on the poll. The only GG I know of, me, manager of discount mattress

 

^Mattress's and RX8's must have something in commen. Nate, who drives a VR RX8, also works at a matress company.

Gonna of course go with VR. Seems like when its in direct sunlight, i get a ton of compliments and questions about the paint job being aftermarket cause of metallic flakes that are more noticeable in direct sunlight.

 

I prefer black on the 8 but black can go on anything. I think WB is most original and looks great.

 

Black has to be perfectly waxed (no big deal) and has to have the black and tan interior.

 

Once you go black. You never go back.

 

I really liked that, actually.

 

I see the PBs have taken the lead over that hideous BC, FGS. Something is right with the world. Honestly, you WB people are smoking crk!

 

Wouldn't it have been awesome if the Rx8 was offered in Garnet Red like the MX5s. Hands down would've been one of the hottest colors.

 

I think a hot color for the 8 would be some sort of burnt orange. Dodge offers this color in the Caliber.

I have never liked red for a car color, but when I seen my 07 gt under the showroom lights in velocity red, I had to have it and been loving it for my first month of ownership!

 

it's not even a competition: velocity red wins. what color is at the top of a stop light? Red which color is first in a rainbow? Red

The color red, and a brilliant red metallic at that, goes perfectly with the word sports car.

i'd love to get the shiinka copper red. but was not available in 07 and hard to find.

ended up with VR, and very satisfied. it just looked great under direct sunlight...
over the WB, the VR just stood out more for me... but they are like the perfect opposites i you can look at it that way.

saw the phantom blue in the showroom in 07, and man, its also a great color. but no-one stocked a GT in that color at that time and my last car was a dark blue pearl, so that was outta the question.

black is very typical color... and very bland. its also a solid, therefore cheaper... don't get me wrong BB owners, sorry. but black also goes against accentuating the lines of the RX8...if not properly waxed.

i love wearing dark colors... but quite ironic that i find black the least attracting car color to own.

yellow cars are rare... but i really have no definitive answer why i don't dig that color???

 

The black also only looks good with the appearance kit. I prefer the BB in Mazda Rotary Accents Appearance kit over it in Mazdaspeed trim.

 

BB got my vote. I wanted one but had to settle for GG. VR would be a close second if I ranked them, then WWP. I could've got a WWP, but my last 2 cars were white.

I do have to agree that the GG looks nice in a parking lot at dawn.
