Congrats to your friend. Now remind her it is better to play pocket pool than worry about where your car is.

Funny thing is, it is so awesome, even a passing police officer came to ask me about it later on that day. He put metal bracelets on me for some reason. It's kinda kinky, but whatever. I've got an RX-8 fanboi on my arm!
...

Sorry. That was probably over the top.

i was wondering that, too.

it's not like the parts are particularly valuable since it doesn't have the good engine in it and the tranny is ****.

I'm glad your friend got her car back! What a stupid criminal. He should have at least taken the plates off if he was going to be as stupid as to leave it in his driveway.

Um.. It should be the same engine. Just doesn't produce as much top power than the MT because it's limited.

P7, you're forgetting that there is a low power, 4port version that was commonly fitted to AT transmissions. since she has 16 inch wheels, I'm going to lean towards her having a 4 port motor instead of the 6 port.

and oddly enough, the 4 port engine has more torque.

Bwahaha, this idiot actually parked his newly stolen car in his own driveway, out in the open?

Maybe he's a religious guy and he had just been praying for a new car, and then found the car with keys in front of it in the parking lot...thank you Jesus! But officers, it was a gift from god!

Glad it was found. I hope there's no damage.

Here's all the info the officers could let on until the court date. They were a bunch of teens, between the ages of 16 and 18. The only damage is the rear bumper, where they tore off the license plate from the bracket. I guess they didn't have a decent screwdriver to just unscrew the plates from the holder. Other than that, the car just reeked of cigarette smoke.

Apparently, someone tipped the cops when these no-good punksters drove the car to school to show off. Something didn't feel right... Maybe the 8 had a "You Go Girl" decal, while pulling up to the lot with 4 guys jumping out. Anywho, I won't know anymore until after the trial. Stupid criminals..
