Pizza Anyone?
Friday for lunch my coworker and I went to the nearby mall (Springfield Mall-VA) for lunch. I always park my car out in the nowhere section for safety.
I return to my car and started to walk around it to inspect. My coworker laughed at me, asking why I do this. I explained.
Well my first vandle. The SOB took a half eatin slice of pizza and wipes my right rear quarter panel with it . Then places the slice on top of the rear tire. The grease is all over the quarter panel.
My coworker was amazed that people do this. We went straight to the car wash and cleaned it. That goodness it wasn't a key or dent to the door or something.
I only wish I could have seen the individual that did this for he or she would have been beaten to a pulp. Then place the slice of pizza down there pants.

Geez, what a low-life. Can't afford a nice car but trash yours.
He'll probably never get anywhere in life.
At least no permanent damage. I got keyed badly once, it's never the same after that.

some donkey decided that they would like to crank their steering wheel all the way to the right... then scrape the entire passenger side of my car, and just leave... i guess he had a crappy car, so he got a little jeolous? I dont know. Regardless, it sucks, because i received the car as a present for getting into school early (johns hopkins university) with a scholarship and someone would do that. My dad won't let me fix up the dents and stuff b/c he htinks if people work on it, there will be rattles, etc. It's not that bad... but you can see the 3 bolt marks that stick out of the passenger door, etc. It sucks alot. I think you got of really lucky - if people decide to rub pizza on your car, they could've as easily keyed it. So... you should be "happy" that was it.
Gluck w/ ur car!!

This is really just plain sad.... what's wrong with these people??? I'll never look at my neighbors the same after the egging.... it might not even be one of them but as far as I'm concerned if you don't own an 8 or don't want to compliment my car you are on the suspect list.... one of my neighbors smiled while I was trying to wash the egg off, I nearly flipped him off.... then realized he was probably smiling cause he liked the car, not laughing at my misfortune. You're lucky, I wasn't so lucky.

I get a lot of crap for parking out in the nowhere section all the time as well... I do it for the same reasons everyone else does here. I still have yet to park my car in more than one parking spot though and people that do that drive me up the wall.
We had a guy at the old office that did that all the time. The problem with this guy is that he would park near the building and take two spaces. if you are going to be a putz at least do it away from the building. He would also get bent when someone would park anywhere near him.
One day we decided that we had enough of this guy and we pulled all the valve pins out of his tires. It was all sorts of fun watching this guy try and reinflate his tires with one of the cigarette lighter compressors.
He was a jerk and deserved every minute of that torture. You however did not deserve the pizza thing and should see if there are cameras in that lot and report the vandalism.
I swear... One of these days I am going to go and park a car in a lot and wait in viewing distance for someone to do something stupid and then go and take whatever it was they were going to use on the car and ram it into a place that the sun does not shine.
At least your damage was recoverable.

Pepperoni.
Its just a shame that this car brings out the evil in everyone. I do consider myself lucky, but it still doesn't change the level of hatred I have towards these low lifes.
I'm very sorry for others who have recieved damage to there 8's.
I think the 8 should have its own servalance system. Wouldn't that be a hot item to sell?

Hello: I am a first-time poster. My tale of woe follows: Formerly a 5-year Miata (Spring '99, 2000 model) owner and currently an M6 GT-V6 driver, I went to my dealership to have a look at the MX5 Mazdaspeed. Have test driven the RX8 GT previously and was totally blown away. But wanted to try the MX5. After a brief drive in town in the MX5, I hoped to spend a bit of extended time with it.The dealership kindly offered their v. red demo on condition that I keep the kilometres under 200 (this is the 24 May Canadian long weekend; it has rained more or less continuously.. so, top up, but them's the breaks). Naturally, I agreed.
It was in a half empty parking lot outside a Chinese buffet Restaurant on Friday night for max. 1 1/2 hours, beside my wife's Olds van. Noticed nothing unusual about the car when I came out.Yesterday, about to drive my son back to his place in Toronto, as he was putting his bag in the trunk, he remarked there was a keying scratch across the trunk lid, with nasty scuff marks on both ends of the spoiler. His father-in-law, a retired To. policeman, took a look and said that it appeared not to be fresh. True or not, I not only feel responsible but careless for not checking the car over thoroughly. When it goes back Tuesday morning, the best thing I can do, I think, is to relate the story and offer to cover the costs, in order to maintain my self-respect and the very good relationship which exists with the staff and dealership owner. They do operate their own body shop. It appears to be too deep to be buffed out. Will likely need a repaint. What an embarassment! Poor liitle MX5..Thanks for reading/listening.

Maguire's to the rescue..With great trepidation, I applied a dab of cleaner, rubbing very gently, and voila.. all marks completely disappeared. Finished with a light application of Maguire's light detailing mist, buffed and 'all gone'! Case closed. [Sound of huge sigh of relief].

I took my wife's 2000 Accord into downtown Indianapolis one Sunday afternoon. I stopped at a new Starbucks that had been built in a bad part of town. I was in the Starbucks for about ten mintues. When I came out, the front bumper had been scratched 43 times. That was a $300 job to sand and repaint the bumper.

Our State finally got the CCW (Concealed Carry Weapons) law passed and it's fresh in everyone's mind... makes me want to make a window cling for my rear windows:
Warning! Owner may be a CCW license holder... vandalize at your own risk!

I already have a Concealed weapons permit. You have to be careful with the Excessive force laws. 2nd you have to see them and catch them. Still it wont give us the right to do what we want to do to them.
I think having a decal wont help, teens and adults will test it.
