Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy a sunshade with eyes as the design as in the animation movie Cars by Pixar/Disney?

I've been looking on the the internet and ebay but couldn't bring up a source that currently sells it. I found that Target and Advanced Auto Parts were selling it, but searching their site and emailing them resulted in the negative.

Pictures of the sunshades are attached.

Any info would be sooo appreciated.

There's a state farm logo on the top right corner. Maybe it's a feebe for their customers.

You can buy those shades at Target or Advance Auto parts here in the states.
Maybe one of the folks here could hook you up.

Hmm, painting the eyes on, not a bad idea. There's those special films that are used on buses (and trams) for advertising that are perforated and black on the inside so you can see out. Could do that, until the cops pull me over.

Torpedo and boiler, I saw those in my search but they are just not the same as eyes only. Thanks for looking though.

speedweasel, that is a very helpful contact. I will use it if my cousin in DC can find it at Target.

just FYI...
i got one for free, and they're a b*tch to put on the 8 IMO.
but then again, i haven't tried any other sunshades, so they all might be a pain.

 

The circular ones seem to be the best.

I had emailed and telephoned Target but they said they didn't have any. Neither did Autoparts. I asked my cousin to look into Target but again, without success.

I've emailed the guy at Disney but no reply.

 

Same here if you can find one not on ebay I'd like to get it as well before summer.

Yes it is a little big. I'm going to cut it down and restitch the edges so it'll fit better.

It works well with the 8 since the radiator grill looks like a smiling mouth. Thanks for the pic.
