Pics of headlight washers in action?

Can anybody post pics of the headlight washers in action? Just curious as to how the mechanism operates on the RX8.

I was thinking I should modify mine so that they spray at a different angle..more sideways.

That way when one of those window washing kids comes up to my car, leans over and asks to wash my dirty windows I can say "no, but would you like a shower"?

:D

Its simple... The squarish piece slides out about two inches... and sprays the lens.

Appreciate that folks. I was just curious--my mom's SLK operates in the same fashion; however the cover is hinged at the bottom with the washer jets a separate deployable unit.

If I remember correctly, you have to use the windshield wash 5 times for the headlight washer to deploy once. Something else I realized (but not too sure if it's the case) is that when you do demonstrate this feature to admirers, you have to put the hand brake down or else the headlight washers don't work. I am unable to test that theory out since I have my car stored away.

Every 5th time (with headlights on) or when you hit the washer twice in quick succession.
