Well, basically I signed the papers and left a grand for a deposit on my rx8 and will pick it up well, I guess now it is later today, friday 19 march. They had to do a dealer trade with another dealer close by, but I did not want to work with since the guys at that dealership were clueless about the 8. They had to look up a lot of stuff in a book that I was asking questions about and the guy I am working with knew all the stuff I asked(stuff like the flooding, ECU flash, other stuff that only people who were rx8 savvy would know, yes even salesmen). I still have to go in and do the loan stuff, but the price is done, 22380 out the door with s-plan, college grad and mazda finance offer and some cash, but no trade since they were only going to give me what I owe so my pops took it for that amount. 6spd titanium gray, sport package, appearance package, rear spoiler. It is a bit more since I was hoping for another grand or so from the trade, but overall I am happy and dont have to wait until the got another in in mid june some time. I will shoot some pics tomarow and post them up.

What do you mean "mazda finance offer?" I'm not aware of any special financing for the 8?

 

Mazda has a deal right now on all cars I guess that if you go through them you get a 500 dollar discount and they told me they would match or beat my bank which was 4% so I said for 500 bucks I will go with mazda if they can match it. Or my dealership doesnt know what they are talking about and gave me 500 bucks cause they thought it was applicaple to the 8, but what ever, their fault and ive got it in writing so they cant back out.
