Picked up my RX8 have a stupid question on Ipod lol

Picked up my RX8 have a stupid question on Ipod lol

Here it goes did not pay attention to this when I took it for a test drive. Here it goes got in it ready to plug my Ipod into it wtf no aux port lol this car has a 6 cd changer and a bose system and no way to play ipod wtf lol. Wow this blew me away am I correct on this.

Well it would help if you posted a little more about your car, but if you are driving an S2 (2009-10) then you do have an aux port ... slide back the center console, then open to the side and you will find an aux port. I am not sure if the S1 has this though.

you can buy an IPOD hook up thaet plugs directly into the headunit

This is an option provide you don't have the factory satelite radio installed. The satelite radio utilizes the same interface as the iPod adapter. I've looked into this myself but can't do it because I have satelite radio installed from the factory.

it looks like they are all like that for our cars, if you have satelite radio. Maybe look into a good one thaet plugs into your lighter?

the op makes it sound like ipOd connector and/or Aux is standard on every other car except Rx-8

Yeah bro. I did the same thing. My music means alot to me and while I'm crusin'. I had the bose system, and I get home, and theres no aux. port. I was pissseddd.... So I burned like 10CD's and called it a day.

I have not been happy with any RF transmitter type...... the fildelity was poor.

Same here, Old Rotor. Even if you get a clear frequency to transmit on, the transmitter still compresses the heck out of the signal. While an easy option, the FM transmitters are just junk in my opinion.
