Talking

Ye , I bit mine was 3,500 cash back couple weeks ago but, (not huge but) the extended warranty 6yrs/60,000 miles was addition 1,450. Which sounds like was included on earlier year models.

By far the best car I have ever driven but, (another one) I come from a limited series of conservative vehicles no real handling or fun just plain ole transportation. I did try test driving everything that compared to RX8 nothing comes close in handling or my personal most import to me the FUN factor. Love the look and feels like I’m driving kickass darting hate say this but, (not again) agile go-kart feel.

I have learned RX8 load of info last few days of reading on this forum. After reading rotarygod’s post I’m excited about the future of this engine. And there is something special knowing you engine runs completely different than all the other cars on the road.

So thanks to all for your help.

Congrats to you.....envy the feeling of your first one. The manual is your friend. Some here have found out too late the engine is oil injected.

Id wait for even more than that. Sorry to say, but dealers will have to "give" 8s away to get rid of them this year. In most cases, they arent going anywhere. Id be willing to bet Ill be able to get an R3 for less than 25k come this winter if I wanted one bad enough.

I agree with you. As I said, I think the R3 should be worth somewhere around there with base around 20-22K.

Here is the scary part. I saw the window sticker on the R3, it says the average fuel cost for the year is around $3400. I walked by a 370Z today, it says somewhere around 1470. That's a big difference right there! Prius says somewhere around $540 or something hehe

Where are they getting those numbers?
10,000 miles at 15mpg at $3 gal. = $2,000

It's on the window sticker, in between the two big numbers. My bad, it was $2218, not $3218. I got to get my eyes checked!

Cost to Drive 25 Miles

$3.69
dollar sign
Fuel to Drive 25 Miles

1.39 gal

Cost of a Fill-up

$40.46

Miles on a Tank

274 miles

Tank Size

16.9 gal

Annual Fuel Cost*

$2218
