I am originally from New Jersey and my license plate on her says JRZBOY 8 to symbolize the person driving it. But I call her Jersey girl. I love her to DEATH.

my mother said it looked like...get this a "LABorgini" alls I could say was thanx. I refer to it as "the end all be all", "way better/faster than a STI or EVO" "the fastest car on earth" and lets not forget "the best car BAR NONE'

or "it can smoke a viper" they work well for me

I call my RX-8 "Sting." It is named for Frodo's sword from the Lord of the Rings novels.

I thought of this name because my previous vehicle was a black 2001 Jeep Cherokee with a 5-speed manual. My new RX-8 was so much quicker and more precise that I started thinking of it as a knife or a surgical scalpel, and what more famous blade is there in literature than Frodo's Orc-slicing Sting?

Among my coworkers we call it "the 8". There's not another around.
My two-year-old often refers to it as 'the blue car'. In fact, when I have a rental when my car is the shop the two-year-old will be angry: "Nooooo!!! Don't want the brown car!! Want the blue car!!!"
With NAV, she talks so she earned a proper name right away too so when we talk about her instead of it we call her Annie (the brand new 2004 I found in Sep 2005 - clearly a lost orphan and I was happy to give her a home).

I call mine "VR Girl". She's velocity red. My cat was put to sleep in 2000 (she was 21!) and her name was Van Rickets and I called her VR Girl. So, it's a tribute to my cat.

My husband gave it the name Little Bit. When I drove it home, and pulled into the garage, the first thing I said when I got out was, "Its so little!" (I had just traded in a Jeep Grand Cherokee) I love Little Bit!
