People suck!

Well, as the title says, people suck. Got a decent dent on my passenger side (dark out, so no pic for now). There's a decent vertical line which makes it seem like it's probably from a car door. Wasnt there when I went into the store and was there when I came out. Only got 2 things and knew what I wanted so was a quick trip. Saw 2 people getting in the car next to me when leaving (they were in a handicapped spot with not tag, plate and neither seemed to have a problem). Was one of those chrysler van/SUV looking things. Pacifica is it? What pisses me off more is they know they did it! Since I have a black car, it has that very fine layer of dust, and you can see where they rubbed to see if they could get it to come out and left no info! ********! Oh well, I'm done venting for now, my cinnamon rolls are ready, I'm going to eat one.

There was a time my car parked at some public parking lot, went up to my cousin's place to get something.

Came back down, the driver side marker, With some part of the bumper, was alllllll messed up, judging from looks of it, it seems like the car next to me, when they driving it out the ******* MORON turn too much and drag it all over ....

I was soooo pissed that day. Cant even eat.

If I ever see that ******* Green van again I swear Im going to pop all his tires.

Can I have some of ur cinnamon rolls ?

Happens all the time. THe other day i was double parked next to a fire hydrant in Manhattan to drop something off real quick. I got back into the car and some old lady in a beat up Taurus decides to triple park next to me. If anything happened (traffic cop, emergency, etc), i wouldn't be able to get out!

So I sat there, and BANG!!! The lady opens the door into our car. I felt the whole car shake. At that point I was pretty damn pissed.

I got out of the car to check if there was any damage. She had the nerve to ask me "are you moving or what? i need your spot".

That got me pretty f'ing pissed. I looked at her and the convo went like this:

Me - Ma'am... You just opened your door into my car...
Old lady - What? No... I didn't even touch your car.
Me - Uh, yes you did. I heard and felt it from inside the car.
Old Lady - Oh.. Oops

And she walks away! I'm stuck there so I can't freaking move the car out with her dumb *** triple parked next to me. So i had to wait for her dumb *** to come out of the building she disappeared into. I obviously couldn't leave the car alone like that. She finally came back and opened her door without touching me. She had to mumble a few "*****" too.

I couldn't see any damage, maybe because the car was dirty after a snow storm...

/end rant.

One long deep scratch on the passenger door! Not cool at all... luckily my buddy has a body shop and the fixed her up 4 me....

Your lucky because someone pushed a cart that was at least 3 parking spaces away from my car...into my drivers side door! Now I have 2 mall dents but because it is at the edge of where the door opens it isn't that noticable. I was parked a mile away from everyone else......and this **** happens! Now I just camouflage my car in the parking lots and don't draw attention to it...

People are just pure jealous *** holes!! Our car is soooo sexy they can't stand it and do stupid **** like this!

heh, wat i do is i find a niceee car that obviously someone loves "takes care of" such as a clean washed lexus sedan, 350, g 35, it's gota look cleannnn. then i park next to it you will typically be safe =D. avoid SUVs, trucks and beaters... they will beat u up. at work i park next to a 350z.

Smart idea...will have to do that next time in a parking lot... One time I parked next to another 8 and I had to walk all around the mall just to get to where I was going. I didn't care as long as my baby was next to a sibling...

How about this one...
One of my drunken idiot friends decided to LAY on my hood one night. It totally caved in and popped back out, but now there is a small dent right on the crease where the rotor shape is. It's not very noticeable but it right in my line of sight when I'm driving so I see it constantly... grrrrrrrr. I'm hoping it can be fixed paintless but I don't know.

be glad u dont own a "riced" out civic, ive seen people door my car my car on purpose and when i run out to ask them they take off or deny it and i tried calling the cops once and they wouldnt do ****. Then someone keyed my driver side door the ENTIRE length of the door, then someone in a truck backed into the front of my car, right square into the center, you can see the hitch marks in the bumper, busted the headlights, bent a METAL FENDER. So man he musta been haulin it, but i got money for that one without going thru insurance cuz that was my boss lol.

Im done venting too, cinnamon rolls kick a$$

Yep, never park next to vans, suv's and large trucks. Nice or not, they are BIG and normally contain kids that dont pay much attention when swinging open their doors. Try to park next to the nicest cars in the lot or out a ways near light poles.

Yes its usually best to park near really nice cars or no cars at all. If the first spot is open, but theres a beater sitting right next to it I pass it up. People are really careless and if they can get away without getting insurance involved they will do it. My friend backed into a Lexus in his civic, said "oh ****. Better go" and then drove away.

Sorry it happened to your 8s

lol, exactly. The chrysler looked pretty clean and such so I wasnt really worried... only thing I could have made the judge on was the fact it was in a handicap spot without tags or plate.

Lets back up and look at this from another angle and imagine yourself at a politcal rally and you are the idiot out in the parking lot waving your cheesy homemade banner supporting your rights as the team player for the opposition party, and cause you geniunely feel compelled( like Spielbergs"close incounter of the third kind") to be there, you decide its ok to park the 8 in a clearly open and marked handicap section, only cause your mom, bless her,had an outdated HC sticker laying around on her 1950's style coffee table in the family living room and since it was free, what the hell, its ok. heh, anyhoo, along comes several big bruisers and hard core rally members, their fill of RallyDom complete, notce you parked just alongside their 89'pale yellow Lincoln towncar, I say,I say, what do you suppose would be the kind of reaction those oversized cats might have on the player and his 8? I was just wondering.....

All I have to say with regards to parking far away is this story....

Guy parked his mustang out at the very far reaches of the parking lot everyday. One day accident occurs on outer drive of lot and jeep ends up on roof of said mustang.

In short it doesn't matter where you park, stuffs going to happen, its going to **** you off, but ultimately just need to move on with life. But the next time I see someone door denting one of my cars, they are dead.
