painting stock rims, diy maybe?

Ive done a good deal of searching on the diy's but can't find a diy rim painting on which you can leave your tires on. I don't have the tools to take off my tires or get them taken off. Is there a way to just tape your tires off and do it like that?

lol yup beer works fine for me ... yea when i did the rims to my z i had a few years back it turned out shitty BUT since then ive done 2 audis an evo my 8 another 8 a z and a corvette ... lots of different styles and ive mastered most of em ... i wont **** anyones rims up lol but yea id you dont know what your doinf they look real nasty but if you do and follow the steps patiently you can do all 4 for under 60 bucks in oppose to 100 to 150 a wheel for powdercoating ... of course you get what you pay for but if you dont wanna spend that much painting isnt bad at all and it doesnt look bad at all either

damn rodjon, painting rims and a case of beer doesnt sound like a bad saturday. Unfortunately i moved to lafayette temporarily, i'm back and forth between houston alot when finances allow but going back to school and well i wont bore yall with a sob story about how i want to get back to houston asap. It's so damn boring here i figured i could dedicate a day or so to paint my rims.
