actually the color in Japan is a second blue offered. Its more of a steel blue hue.

 

those colors are available here.... Winning Blue will always be the best anyways

 

So... they have 2 more colors than the US. A cool blue and a turd brown. Awesome.

"Turd brown" is sparkling black mica and we have it here and it's a great ******* color you jackass.

 

But arn't those only for 04-08?? aren't the 09s only black, white and like one other color?

NM, it does have a blue for 2010 R3 only. Anything else you get the shaft with 3 colors.

 

I think the colors are just fine in the US. I wish they would make the Shinka Black Cherry a standard color, beautiful.

I actually thought the black mica was brown at first but I actually think it would look good in a dark brown.

 

It's a really cool color... depending on how clean the car is/how much light there is it can go from looking black, to charcoal, to a sparkley yellowy brown, one cop even thought it was green >_<. A lot of people ask if it's an aftermarket color.

I love it at dusk when the half of the car in the sun looks charcoal and the other half looks black.

i agree. that's strato blue right? i heard it's very purple. i love it. the uk gets it, too, but was never available here on the 8, altho i think you could get it on the mazda3 for a while. def better than winning blue, and just that much better than stormy blue

 

yeah, it's strato blue but it was called stormy blue in the US. Black is probably my favorite color for cars, but when I first saw a stormy blue I have to admit I was a little sad that I already had my black 8. If I ever have to get my car repainted or if I get another 8 then I'll definitely put stormy blue on the top of my list.

 

First of all 8 Maniac- you're crazy if you think that purple 8 with mustard rims is anywhere close to the WB. And secondly, **** the colo(u)rs, I want those R3 seats now! If they were on cameros or srt-8's or something I would so steal a set lol.... can't so that to an 8 owner though, lol.

 

Didn't realize the color choices on the 2010 RX-8 were limited to 3 colors.

But even on a new 2010 MS3 - Black, red, silver and some ugly blue.
