Snow tire decision PLEASE HELP!
Should I buy the Dunlop Winter Sport M3 or the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 or the Michelin X-Ice Xi2? HELP!:Eyecrazy:
post in wheels and tires section... it's there for a reason lol
I did no one goes there. so I killed it
Never heard of either of them
I bought a set of Winter Sport M3's last year and they worked out very nicely for me. Very good for driving on those cold but dry winter days, much better in the rain than my crappy oem summer tires (of course), and fully driveable in the snow (about three to four inches was all I tried).
The lack of low end torque in the 8 is actually a good thing for driving a sports car in the snow... |
garage it.
you should not drive it in the winter, buy a beater
well, you CAN drive it in the winter. I just choose not to spend extra money on tires and put the extra miles on it when I am extremely fortunate to work at the same place as my girlfriend (who Ive lived with for 2 years), so we just share her Grand Prix from November to March. Hell yea, my 8 will be warm and cozy in the garage!!

Got my Blizzak ws60's today they look awesome. bought them on tirerack.com Fri. arrived today. quick! Connor was great. on a different note I was looking at the tires on my car and I have a nail in the front tire. only 9,000 miles on them. God Damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Kill2:

I'd garage my car and buy a beater and drive it every fucking day, but I live in an apartment with two parking spots (which is pretty good considering) and there's nowhere I could leave the beater.
yeah the blizzak's are the best you can get but I still reccommend getting a beater
my wife wont let me get a beater. she said you bought this car and you are going to drive it!
