Is it okay to take off the cover on top of the engine??

Is it okay?? Will there be any harm??

i'm thinking of getting a front tower bar for my 8, do you guys think the tower bar help much with the handling??

I haven't had the engine cover on since I installed the Mazdaspeed strut bar. That was over 2 years ago. I haven't experienced any performance issues nor any heat damage to the hood.

ive had my MS strut bar on for about 6 months... no engine cover and my car is running fine

i had my cover off all summer. the car seemed to run cooler without it...got dirtier though. now that cooler temps are here its back on as my car seems to get up to operating temperature quicker with it. your results may vary.
