OK, where are the oil coolers?

Just a guess: behind the fog lamps? I see a small radiator behind each lamp.

Yes- there is one behind each fog lamp on your car.
You should get some oil cooler screens from Racing Beat or Dmenac7 ASAP to prevent any damage to the fins on them..

Sounds like you guys get the twin oil cooler set up.
We only get the single one here in Australia.

But we do get the Xenon h/light washer jets, clear markers, and "puddle" lights on the side mirrors.

What's the puddle light for anyway? Is that really to show you the puddles? Is there a big problem with puddles in Australia?

Yeah because we're a island, we get flooded all the time. LOL

No seriously, the lights are a carry over from the JDM model, so blame the Japs.

They're pretty useless besides the "cool" factor when unlocking your doors at night.

I'll trade you mine for a second oil cooler though.

There's some pretty frickin' hot territory in Australia, isn't there? That's so weird that they'd decide not to include the second oil cooler there.

OIC. I thought maybe some prime minister's wife stepped in a puddle getting out of the car, got pissed, and had a law passed requiring puddle lights.

Edit:
By the way, when do they come on? When the door opens?

What would you use the puddle lights for? It will show the reflection of puddles at night so you don't step in one before you get in the car? Never seen anything like that. Kind of strange. Interesting how Japan caters to different RX stuff in other countries. yeah, I'd go for the extra oil cooler before the puddle lights.

Well 1.3L I am going to do the same in the Spring time I think. You have to remove the front bumper deal to put in the protective screens. Autos come with one cooler however. There is DIY on removing the bumper and there are some places on this forum where you can buy the screens. Since the bumper is off, we should put a screen in the lower front where that big plastic area is in front of the condenser for the AC and put a screen there to protect the AC condensor.

Yes that's the theory behind them.
Pretty crap if that's its intended purpose since they don't illuminate that much.

I think the are ok. One time, in complete darkness, I saw the mud by the driver's door (cuz it rained heavily) just in time to avoid it, when I unlocked the car, and didn't mess the interior...

these lights are pretty common on other cars here in the U.S. My mom's explorer has them - biggest benefit - um... well I can find her car at night when I unlock it??? and it illuminates your door therefore you dont miss grabbing your handle

they seem kinda pointless but not very uncommon
