Mazda is with out a doubt is their own worst enemy. They spend all this money on the "Zoom-Zoom" marketing then kill it all with bottom of the barrel support. I really love the RX but I really hate Mazda.

Take a look at how Mazda responded to abnormally high problem rates with the RX compared to all their other models. Did they realise they had a problem and try to address it with better training? A higher level of support for the owners? Increased quality control? A special program to address these issues?.......NO!!!!! they decided to blame the issues on the owners and told the dealerships that the RX-8 would no longer be surveyed for owners service satisfaction. Way to go guys, that's addressing the issue.

Zoom-Zoom-Doom!!!

The car is not a lemon. It has over 50k miles which will cause 'wear and tear' which would make these repairs 'understandable'.

i know it isn't a lemon, but close to it. the SC lemon law ends after 12,000 miles or 12 months. but they have had nothing but trouble with the engine(s) since the recall on my car.

none of these problems ever began until AFTER the recall. i really think the service department did something wrong when doing the work. before i took my car in, i had NEVER had a CEL, then i get it twice less than two days apart. so i am starting to question the workmanship of the techs from Fairway Ford Mazda of Anderson.

I will see how things are after i get it back from Greenville.
