or you could do like my wife does and run a car till the oil runs out and then just buy a new car. no this was not on the 8

 

Ouch.

 

I just checked my oil for the first time today at about 530 miles. The oil was still above the full line and very clear. The only thing I did notice was that the paint was coming off the dipstick as I wiped it so I kept wiping it until no more paint rubbed off. Why would they paint the dipstick anyway? And what is the purpose of the little angled tip at the end of the dipstick?
