Question oil change

can anyone please tell me the correct oil for my RX8?10-40 tell me a friend 5w-20 the other.

check your oil filler cap, i think it says GF-3 SL 5W-20....

yeah its 5W-20, preferably Non-Synthetic..... the car drinks oil like a mother, so you have to be careful which blend to use. DO NOT USE MOBIL 1....

So Non-Synthetic oil is better oil for the engine.ELF is ok?

do you have your RX-8's owner's manual, it should specify what oil grade to use in your region...

how abt using 15w 50 synthetic oil

I just did my first oil change on the RX-8 2 days ago to royal purple 5w20 (synthetic). I've never experienced such a difference after an oil change. The engine revs up smoother in a very perceptible way.

I was told NOT to use synthetic oil.
