Yes to get the most out of your car the spark plugs should be changed every 30k.
www.autopartswarehouse.com sells them for 85 dollars shipped and thats the best deal i have seen. Look in your owners manual it will tell you when you should change or replace things. Aslo change your oil and oil filter every 3k

I just use the castrol gtx 5w-30 myself. I might order the synthetic oil designed for the ratary engines. I have a new car and just take it to the dealer for the oil change. They use 5w-20. It appears to me, though, that 5w-20 burns faster in the engine. That's why I just go with 5w-30 when I add oil.
I don't know... It's one of those things that everyone has an opinion or two.

And if you don't have a manual, you can download it for free in the owners ection of www.mazdausa.com
Yes, you'll have to sign up(free of course), but there is a lot of good info there and it will show if there are any recalls not performed yet on your car.....as just one example.

I use hydraulic jack oil. The reasoning is because you need to jack up your car and so you need to try to get the most out of your jack. In addition, hydraulic jack oil adds approximately 5-8 HP on my RX8. Something to do with the "hydraulic" characteristics and additives.
Hey, very importantly, did you read the article in which people using a combination of dino oil and/or synthetic had their engine literally blow up while cruising on the fwy? There was a double dissociation where 1:1 of two kinds of dino oil produced a significant effect whereas a 1:1 of two kinds of synthetic did not produce the effect. However, when a 1:1:1 of three kinds of oil, whether all dino or all synthetic or any 2:1 combination of 2 kinds of brands whether two parts dino and/or two parts synthetic notwithstanding led to nothing more than a misuse of your money that they will perform.
Hope this helps.
