I would rent an 8 in a heart beat, auto or stick. you just dont see rotary rentals, ppl are scared to work on them..even tho they are an overall more simple engine.

as far as the sunfire goes, they are fun to abuse thats for sure. i bought one brand new in 04 (dont ask, i just got a sweet deal on it: had good mpg plus loaded w/ stereo and electric blue paint), and after a few rides thru the mountain roads, the ten yr old GM designed frame began to twist on the turns, and my trunk lid had probs closing a few times. dont worry im getting rid of it now...

lol seriously man, next time come check out some areas surrounding LA and you will think you're in the middle of Korea or Japan, i dont mind cuz im a A-Z-N myself and am originally not from the area so im getting back in touch with my roots more. i grew up in the suburbs of la about 2 hours east and its just a bunch of rednecks

Out past Corona? I stayed with friends there, and there's nothin but subdivisions and cow farms. Where would you recommend are fun places around LA?

I'm heading to LA in May for E3... anyone know if you can rent RX-8's there? I usually go with Budget.

out past corona??? thats waay too east. between riverside and LA county and a bit north of that area too is what i'm talking about. im from riverside(which is in riverside county northeast of corona) though. fun places...i could tell you but give me some specifics, your age group, your intrests, and what type of fun places(for event type stuff or hang out type places)

e3, luuuucky. i doubt if budget will have rx8's, i believe enterprise does, but dont expect to find one easily.
