I just got done reading the current issue of Automobile and the RX-8 was not in the top 50 of the hottest cars of 2003. Although there were some cars that did strike my fancy on the list, but on a whole there were also some cars that looked like they had no place on the list. (I don't have the issue in front of me at this moment). Granted Mazda is doing all they can to push the new 6 out to the public, but don't you think that it is about time to release more information on the RX-8 (which may be why it was not on the list). Without the proper coverage on the car people that may have been potential buyers will have never heard about the car, thus nearly dooming it from the beginning (ie 3rd gen RX-7).

 

I think its because the RX-8 will officially be a 2004 model. I saw a mag this week end (Can't remember which one) that showed cars comming out in 2003 & 2004 and they showed the RX-8 (the older prototype).
