Ok so I got a 2005 RX-8 VR and the wife loves it so much that we are buying her one of her own now a 2004 high power model, will post pics soon

hehe thanks, yeah looking forward to both, only problem is now both have to be modded, funny thing is mines got about 16 000 miles on and the one we are getting for her has got about 18 500 miles on, both very low on mileage

It's the 230hp engine in the 6 speed. (vs the 210hp in the auto)

Maybe in other countries you can get the 210* with a manual. why anyone would buy it is beyond me.

*yes it's 210. I don't know where I got 190. fixed my other post.

I got a 5 speed 210hp model and shes getting the 6 speed 230hp model, thats the 2 models we got in SA we do not have the auto

lol all our models through the years are only the 2 models a 5 speed and a 6 speed the 5 speed has got the 16" 5 soke wheels and the 6 speed has got the 5 spoke 18" or 19" wheels, both models are exactly the same except for the wheels and gearboxes.
Anyways as soon as we get the hp model then I will take that one then the wife can have the "base" model
only problem is to mod both of them as in south africa there are no bodykits available and they need to be imported, got a whole list of items which Im gonna import , Greddy exhausts, turbo kits, body kits wings etc... lots of stuff costing big bucks if you convert from $ to Rand, getting some 18" wheels on Monday, then I will show and tell with some pics
