is this a normal rotary sound . . .
after the car is fully warmed up and I turn off the engine with windows down in my garage so I can hear side wall reflections I hear this "clank" when I turn the key to shut the engine off. It sound metallic. Is this normal?

It's nothing to worry about. I had mine checked out, along with about 7 other cars on the lot. I wish I remembered what they told me it was from-something about a valve opening and shutting? Sorry.
its either the s-dais or the throttle body plate checking its position. just one of the many tests this car does when you shut it off. take off the intake tube and watch the throttle body as someone cycles your key.

definitely in the intake system. Usually only hear it if the windows are open.
