No Problems with my 8

Well, after purchasing my RX8 about 3 weeks ago with 6000 miles on it; I have had no problems-rattles-or issues with my RX8. :D I had a run in with a rattle on acceleration; but it was a batch of bad gas. On my agenda is aftermarket leather and sound system. The only problem I have is that I couldn't afford the 6spd but no complaints with auto -- next time around 6spd--this is my 2nd rotary and lookin for many more.

Ahhh, sweet Nordic Green! We were lucky and got to see every color at our dealership. The green was gorgeous, definitely my favorite, but since it is so hot here I didn't want a dark color. I told myself years ago that I would never buy a dark color :D
There is nothing like the green all waxed and in the sun!! Here's to you and many years of happy ownership! :D :D

Grats, no problems with mine right now cept the dings I'm hoping to get out. Also, the gas prices but that's not the problem of the car, otherwise, I love it!

Thumbs up in an AT equipped RX-8, one hand won't be jealous of the other!

Great to hear jonny!

I have had my 8 since Oct 30 2003. And like you I have had ZERO problems with my 8. A tire balancing issue I had was due to the fact that the wheels on the 8 needing special balancing procedures after installing UHP All season radials. Right now my brakes are squealing but for me it is not considered a problem as every one of my cars for the last 10 years or so had squealing brakes. I will have them looked at when I have to take my car in for more serious issues.

Unlike my last ride. A 2002 VW Passat W8. In 13 months of ownership...32 job orders, 14 times in the shop and 60 days out of service led to me lemon lawing the beast! Never again!

Good luck and many more miles to you and your 8.

And don't beat yourself up about the choice of the AT over the MT. I wanted an AT from the get-go and have no regrets. Only in the AT8 can you for the most part drive your car and never take your hands off the steering wheel. That way one hand doesn't get jealous that the other one is doing all the driving!

:D

Well; shortly after posting this I got my first RX8 speeding ticket--so maybe I don't need the MT afterall. I don't have anything on my record so I'll either get a lawyer or take defensive driving--45 in a 30 I wasn't even conscious that I was speeding--Oh well, move around.
