No Idle Help

Ok heres the deal yesterday i got my car stereo put in 2 front speakers and 2 amps. When i picked my car up from the place i got it installed at the check engine light was on. I thought this was normal cause they have been working on my car all day and draining the battery. Anyways i started driving it and all of the sudden all of my service lights go on and started to stall...while driving. I have discovered that my car has no idle when it's moving. When i am stopped it can idle almost fine. But when i drive it a. stalls with my foot on the clutch, or b. feels weird and starts to jump like you are pressing the gas and releasing it. My only mods are a K&N Intake and a racing beat exhaust. In a minute i am going to put my stock air filter back in just incase i have to take it back to mazda. Anyways do you guys know what's wrong?

You got me baffled!! Sounds like a mechanical issue, not an electrical issue!! Auto or manual? Does the car start when you turn the key? Are the cockpit lights lighting up? are they fully bright? When in nutral/park does the car idle at 900rpm?

nope this is electtrical. there's fuse blown somewhere or a ground not correct- from the sound install. they broke it they pay to fix it.

it's a manual. It starts up and idles, only when i move it has problems. My mass air flow sensor is still good, and all my fuses were checked. but lemme tell ya putting this stock intake back on is really hard.

Zoom....

I agree with Zoom44 - sounds like a battery connection was left real loose, and the car is trying to run off just the alternator....

Get that baby some serious service!

Ok so the stock intake is back on. It doesn't stall anymore at idle. But when i take it above 5k rpms (or around there) i hear a thumping sort of noise comming from my exhaust like it's bursting air flow. I did not connect the stereo wires. Oh plus my DSC Light was flashing and my car was weaving(in the service icon). I dunno i wanted to get it fixed so mazda wouldn't charge me. Or i wouldn't have to yell at the audio place

Long shot....but check your exhaust pipes. Ensure there is nothing stuck inside them blocking flow. Other than that...it sounds like a trip to the dealer!! How long have you had the exhaust system installed?

FYI it was my MAF sensor. It was dead so my engine couldn't breath . Fixed under warranty.

No! i didn't break it, i put the stock intake back on after my car wasn't working just incase i had to take it to mazda which i did. The stereo place must have broke it considering the MAF has a fuse on it i guess they just burnt it out somehow...but it works now i have the stock intake still on...i think it has a little bit more power actually...except on the freeway.
