EVERY question you have about the 8 will be answered on this forum already. If you find, after about half an hour of searching, that you cannot find an answer to a very specific question, we are all very receptive to answering. It's just that 20 new owners a day open threads like these to ask questions that we all know are answered in great depth, that it is funny (an obvious) to us that the OP has not attempted to search for their own answers. Use the search tool. Try using different search phrases like "nitrous" or "nitrous install" or "nitrous shot." Eventually you'll get the hang of it. Al's nitrous install thread and most threads on the topic by CRH "Ray" will be very informative. GL

Once you do your hw and get serious about getting a nitrous setup, talk to Ray. He has the products and expertise to help you through the process up to installing the system himself.

No see she means really racing, like a tree and you see who is faster. Not get there with your tummy stick buddies and see who can knock over the least amount of cones. ... loser.

Yea we have all the stuff that we need to put the kit on her car (she is my Girlfriend). You see I told her to get on here to see what kind of timing you pull etc. we looked at al's thread(like the only person to document putting nitrous on his car on the whole website) and he did not say what device he used to pull timin, or how much to pull. I did no good searching so I told her to make a thread. This is why she does not like you typical car people. Behind the computer screens you are jerks to everyone and it shows in your lack of a personal life.

Thank you to those who were not complete douche nozzles.

Also if you wish to question the way we are running the kit is going to be a dry shot ... most likely a 55 with a window switch, WOT switch, FPS Switch, and an arming switch for our safety aspect. we also have a purge, it is a zex kits. All we need is the jets for a mazda and to see what programmer we need to use or if we need to bring it to get dyno tuned so it can be checked for the AFR and the timing. Oh we also need a bottle warmer.

You have a Supra, an RX-7, and a Z06? Why not just let your shop do all the work as I'm sure you can afford it.\

You actually have to install it. When I bought my nitrous kit for the Z06 I felt no different power on the way home while it was in the trunk so I installed it and i noticed a big difference. You are a tool. Her nitrous kit "on the car" is going to add about as much power as your fender vent fins

was thinking the same thing.

here's a thought:

"Tune it `til it goes BANG!"

Nitrous isnt something you just start messing with for fun. "Hey lets do clear corners today! New shifter **** tomorrow and... oh heck, NOS on saturday! SAHWEET!"

This isn't Fast & Furious... yo. Aside from having a ricer boyfriend pushing you to do stupid **** to your car... why would you want to put nitrous in it? Just damned curious to know what inspired that train wreck of a thought is all.

EDIT: Well, i went to the second page and read some more... answered my own question. yes, you've got a ricer BF putting stupid thoughts in your head about what to do to your car. no need to reply. thanks!

yea... I am sorry she does not have her own computer seeing as she just moved out of her parents house. So how exactly am I a ricer. I own a Z06 and have owned more muscle cars than you most likely. If anything you sir are a ricer. She does not like the stock power the car has and we talked about turbo kit, but it is rather expensive to do the whole turbo, tune , injectors etc... So without doing a whole bolt on car which will knock down some low 14's...(Woohoo). Nitrous seems to be the best bet for her to have a little bit more of a punch.

Just so ya know and for some constructive help on this, a dry shot is not a good idea at all wiht this car. you have no way of adding fuel through the injectors and our cars are really sensitive to nitrous. also, a window switch does not work wiht our cars either so that is out of the question.

Yea because "NAWZZ" kills engines.. Uh what exactly makes me a ricer. I guess since I have owned 2 Electron Blue Z06's:

A t78 Rx7:

A T67 MKIV Supra:

A 04 477rwhp Terminator Cobra:

A 07 Shelby GT:

A 01 Lexus IS300:

and a 93 Rx7 R1

I suppose since I have owned all of those cars through trades and paying for them with my money not daddys I am a Ricer. Also that I own a 03 Z06 and a 01 IS300 still that makes me a ricer right? I am sorry your car is a POS and it will never go as fast as my Z06 has gone, but do not take out your anger on other people and try to keep other people from going fast. I bet my Girlfriend knows how to drive just as good if not better than you. She knows a pretty good bit about cars(enough to know that a properly installed nitrous system will not blow her car to hell) obviously you do not. So if you can not scrounge up some smart comments in your empty little rotarded head... then keep your thoughtless remarks to yourself. Tell you what give me your address and I will send you a notepad that you can write everything you say down first and then if it is approved by a "smart person" then you can post it. Otherwise STFU

I would stay away from the nitrous and save up for a reliable (expensive) turbo system.

I agree, but I think that a turbo kit is suppose to be on a 13brew not a renesis. What I told her is that if we ever have that engine die we would buy a 13brew and attempt to do swap. I am pretty sure a 55 dry shot will not hurt the engine. I just want some good opinions(like yours) and not douche bag comments like the ones above yours. I appreciate your honest opinion.
