Yeah, all the older cars, with both side suicide doors, all the pickup trucks around before the 8. The 8 is an imitator, it didn't invent the door style.

is it fair to say the rx-8 re-invented the suicide doors? anyway some other subtleties in this nissan design pay poor homage to the rx-8 i think.

 

I'm not that mazda biased and really like nissan 350z, but that is hideious.

well...the rx-8 didn't invent suicide doors, but I think it was the first to feature them without the the b-pillar

 

That thing looks like a 3 way between a 350Z, last gen M45 and a Range Rover, not very pretty at all. It does not come with a Rotary and they already have a 2+2 coupe in the G35, so now they decided that they want to get in on the "freestyle" door idea. I doubt that it would be highly successful and it would hurt 350z and G35C sales more than it would the 8.

that car is UGLY UGLY! If they wanna compete with the RX8, you have to make it at LEAST look good. That car is flat, and just "meh" they took too many ideas from too many cars and stuck it all together with krazy glue.

 

Car is ugly but the only redeeming point is the engine. I'd love to have the 3.5L you find many of Nissan's cars. I don't consider that thing a sports car either, almost not even a coupe.
