Newbie Question

Hello all,

This weekend I will be picking up a set of 18" wheels+tires. I was hoping to take the Rx8 on the road trip instead of the girlfriends car.

My question is- Will a set of 4 18" wheels & tires fit in the Rx8?

Sorry for the ridiculous & asinine question.

4" wheels are pretty small, so I don't see an issue!

But, see above for the real answer.

Thanks for all the replies.

I intend to get some fender covers/welding blankets from my work to cover my interior.

I actually live in Lompoc. I used to commute to SM every day for work. but now I work in Lompoc.

1 in passenger seat, two in the back seats and 1 in the trunk. That has been mentioned will work.

Psh, I've fitted 3 in the rear seats and then the last one in the trunk! 4 18" wheels + a passenger, how much more can I ask for?

Above advice is very sound. So what kind of rims did you get?

Racing Harts.

They are going on the GF's Celica though. I am personally saving up for a set of OZ Superleggeras in Black.

So have I. Was able to fit three 18" with Hoosier A6s in tire warmers in the back and the last in the trunk. It can be done!
